Scope of the Project

- *Secured $6,328.64 in additional funding from Allstate to complete the job at fair market value for the homeowner

- *Secured City of Lantana Building Permit
- *Scheduled City Permit Final Inspection once the build was complete

- *The house had 3 layers of felt that needed to be torn off requiring additional labor expense
- *Needed 2 Items that were not on material order:
- 3” steep base and collar
- 4” steep base and collar

- *Roof installation went smoothly. The homeowner requested new flashing on the front of the house after completion. This area was reinstalled to the homeowner’s satisfaction

Project Challenge
- Hail & Wind Storm on June 11, 2023 near Fort Worth Texas, and surrounding suburbs
- Hail damage to roofing shingles, metal roof accessories, gutters, and downspouts
- The customer needed a new roof and gutters installed
- The insurance claim process would come into play in this project
- Jill Sweeny inspected the property and walked the homeowner through the insurance claim process
- Jill helped the homeowner with questions about filing the claim with Allstate
- At the request of the insurance company, Jill met the Adjuster on-site and provided damage details to assist in the approval of the claim
- Additional Funding Secured: Ben, Linda, and Justin’s work secured $6,300 of additional insurance funds that the homeowner would not have been paid for their damages
Actions Taken
- Roof Inspection. Inspected property and found damage to roof and gutters
- Storm and wind damage found. Communicated roof damage to Allstate by calling in a claim with the homeowner
- Met with Adjuster. Met the Allstate adjuster on-site ensuring the claim would be approved
- Secured supplemental funding. Supplemented the Claim and secured $6,300 more from Allstate
- Roof Installed. Completed the roof and gutters in a timely fashion
Final Results
The project was finished quickly and the homeowner has a brand new roof and gutters. They do not have to worry about roof leaks or any further damage to their home or property within it.
